WCHS Ice Cream Social

Ice cream in January? Outdoors? Down by the river? When the average high temperature is minus six degrees? Why not! If our ancestors could handle it so can we! The Washington County Historical Society (WCHS) is resurrecting from the past a great idea to celebrate winter during the Society's 75th anniversary year. On Saturday, January 24, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., the WCHS will hold an old-fashioned ice cream social in downtown Stillwater's Lowell Park on the St. Croix riverfront. WCHS is grateful to CUB Foods for helping defray the cost of the event.
