Meet our Speaker: Jolee Lilja
Jolee Lilja is a People Operations professional with a strong background in talent development, recruitment, and career success within both higher education and the private sector. She currently serves at van den Boom & Associates in recruitment and onboarding initiatives, helping attract, develop, and retain top talent within the organization.
Prior to her work in People Operations, Jolee held multiple roles at Concordia College, including Director of the Anderson Office of Career Success and Academic Success Advisor, Associate Director of Admission, and Assistant Director of Recruitment. Throughout her career in higher education, she advised and coached students, led career development initiatives, supported enrollment strategy, and partnered across departments to strengthen student and institutional success.Jolee holds certifications as an Entrepreneurial Mindset Facilitator, Career Coach, IOPT Facilitator, and Yoga & Meditation Instructor. She is passionate about leadership development, community engagement, and creating environments where individuals can thrive. She earned a B.A. in Communications from Concordia College and an M.A. in Leadership from Augsburg University.
