Join us on Wednesday, March 12 at the Lowell Inn for "From Madagascar to Microscopes: The Cutting Edge of Dinosaur Science" with guest speaker, Dr. Kristi Curry-Rogers, Assistant Professor in the Biology and Geology Departments at Macalester College. Palentologist Dr. Kristi Curry-Rogers will talk about the hottest topics in dinosaur science and highlight how her research impacts our understanding of dinosaur biology. Curry-Rogers conducts research and makes dinosaur discoveries around the world, from Argentina to Zimbabwe, along with her husband, geologist Ray Rogers, and her four-year old daughter, Lucy. Curry-Rogers has been interested in dinosaurs since she was six years old and is fulfilling her dream of becoming a paleontologist. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Montana State University and her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Anatomy from the University of New York at Stony Brook.The cost of the lunch and program is $17 and should be paid in advance.
