Celebrate Teen Read Month at the Stillwater Public Library! Vote for books and attend fun programs!
Every October Stillwater Public Library celebrates Teen Read Month with our annual Book Ballots program for teens. During the program, teens can vote for their favorite books in 5 different categories. Starting October 1st teens can vote online or pick up a paper ballot at the library. One ballot per person. Voting ends October 31st. Everybody wins! Book Ballots participants get a free reward book and are entered into a drawing for a grand prize. Winners announced in November. Start reading the 2015 nominated titles today and get ready to vote!
The Loft Literary Center will lead a writing class for youth 13-18 years, "Writing Fan Fiction", on October 24 from 10:30-12:00 pm. This program is made possible through funding from the MN Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Amendment.
There's more! Join us on Monday, October 26 from 5-6 pm for our Teen Book Club where we will talk about the first book in the Ranger's Apprentice Series by John Flanagan.
