Chamber Welcomes Shala Yoga to the Chamber and community

Stillwater, MN. The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce welcomed local business, Shala Yoga, to the Chamber with a ribbon cutting celebration on May 17, 2021.
The event took place at 116 Chestnut Street E. (Compass Center), Stillwater, MN. Shala Yoga is located in the lower level of Compass Center building, just left of the building seen in the photo. Shala Yoga owner,  Greater Stillwater Chamber Members, Ambassadors and staff were there to join in the celebration.

Shala Yoga is a new yoga studio in Stillwater that offers a spiritual space for teaching yoga as well as a diverse range of classes to suit all needs. Their studio is a beautiful healing space for yoga students and offers unique workshops that focus on healing and spirituality.

Everything about this Studio has been designed with love and intention. They use environmentally sustainable yoga props. Each mat is high quality and also plants a tree! Each yoga strap purchased offsets 25 pounds of carbon.

Owner Madeline O’Donoghue, turned this space around in 30 days from first taking possession of the space, to her Grand Opening that was held on May 14, 2021. As a new business owner Madeline connected with Washington County’s Open to Business program, to help get her started, as well as partnering with a local business to assist her with marketing and joined the Chamber!

“I wanted a business that I could wake up each day and be excited about!” says owner, Madeline O’Donoghue. “Our goal is to provide a space for individuals to enjoy, share and practice yoga - a true yoga shala.” She is off to a great start!
